WooHoo Half way there! I can’t believe Im already 6 weeks into this program, it is really flying by!

Okay so DRUMROLL please.. I lost ZERO pounds this week 🙁 But thats totally okay. It was Valentines weekend, and I consumed a slice of cheesecake, a hamburger AND ice-cream on Sunday. So I knew that I would probably not lose anything. BUT the other 5 days of the week I did great, had to get creative with no CARBS at dinner, but I was really happy with this weeks meals!
So my weight this week is still: 155lbs. As Ive said before my goal weight is 145, so just 10 more to go!

So something VERY exciting happened this week! THE Jamie Eason commented on my photo on Instagram!! OMG you guys I was freaking out! Leg day was a real doozy!! I usually mention her in some of my photos, but never thought she would comment back! It seriously MADE my YEAR!! As I told my face book group ladies, last round of Jamie Eason Live Fit, I was sooo nervous I would gain weight, or wouldn’t be able to finish the program. And now here I am on my second round (after having my baby girl) and Jamie Eason is following me and commenting on my Instagram! She is seriously my role model! It is amazing how when we step out of our comfort zone, there is so much more to see! Follow me on Instagram: alesha_haley


Breakfast this week was same old same, Egg Whites & chickpeas. I honestly never get tired of them.


Okay guys, have you ever heard of a Veggetti?! Its the most amazing thing!! Since we can’t have carbs 3 hours before bed, I have really gotten bored with just chicken and veggies, so this week I went out and bought a Veggetti! You literally just twist your zucchini or squash and it comes out like Pasta! I cooked mine with some lemon, garlic and onions, topped with some baked chicken and tilapia. OMG y’all it was SERIOUSLY amazing! I can’t wait to make it again! I couldn’t believe how easy it was, and how quick too! You only have to cook the “zoodles” for about 5 minutes and they are done! I bought mine at CVS for $15.00, you can also find them at Amazon or Bed Bath & Beyond.

Another night, I made Chicken Fried Cauliflower “Rice”. And yet again, it was another amazing meal! I love this program because it really forces me to get creative and a healthy way! I used coconut oil to sauté my chicken, cauliflower and carrots. Then topped with greek yogurt + buffalo sauce. OMG I felt like we were at a Japanese Steakhouse. It was amazing!



So Valentines Day was Saturday, and I was so blessed to share it with my beautiful family! I made Protein Pancakes Saturday morning, for myself 🙂 David always eats granola or cereal for breakfast so I had some Vday Pancakes. Topped with melted dark cocoa & toasted coconut. OMG they were delicious! I consumed them in about 2 seconds!


And then Valentines Night, David made dinner! Spaghetti squash, asparagus and Rib Eye steak. It was so good. And for dessert I went and bought some cheesecake with strawberries. I really really wanted to buy an entire cheesecake, but I knew we would eat the whole thing, HA so I settled for one slice.
And then on Sunday, we had my sister watch Annabelle and we went on a date. I had a Asian Hamburger, sweet potato tots and Icecream for dessert. It was HEAVEN! OMG I haven’t had a hamburger in FOREVER! It was so good and I have no regrets, haha! It’s all about moderation and a healthy balance. Before Jamie Eason’s program, I would have eaten that no problem and then the next day probably had another hamburger and would have thought nothing of it. But now I’m okay with a “treat” meal every now and then the other 95% of my week is healthy eating.
Dave and I also went to Couples yoga on Friday night! It was sooo fun! OMG It was a super intense workout, but we had such a great time!
Yogabar in Fruit Cove, FL, is amazing! Great classes, childcare too! I loved that we had a great date and workout together. We normally go to the gym separately so this was a nice change.


Okay so workouts this week, were as usual SO HARD. One of the hardest was Day 37. I really really struggled but I got through it. With every workout I can really tell I am getting stronger. Even though I still have so far to go, little by little I can see that its working! Sometimes it’s not about the scale, but about just having healthy habits, and getting stronger in the gym. After not losing any weight this week I could be super discouraged but instead Im just getting back into and trying again! It’s not always going to be

    So neat that @jamieeasonmiddleton comment on your site! She started a new program with her hubby called #JEFFTAT are you doing that? Also she is doing a lot of Periscopes which I just got in just to listen to her only Ha. She is so down to earth and real.
