Meal Prep Monday {21 day Fix}

Okay so today started Round 4 of the 21 day fix! I cant believe how fast it is going by! I am down 12 pounds and feeling great! I really LOVE how quick the workouts are and the food is SO doable!! I have made the commitment to be SUPER strict this next round!

IΒ kept it SUPER simple this week, just using what I had on hand. Chicken, steamed broccoli, and brown rice. With shakeology for breakfast, hummus and carrots for a snack. And then an apple or watermelon for afternoon snack. NOW this DOES NOT include my dinners for the week. I like to make those fresh every night for my husband and I, so we don’t get bored.

And YES my husband eats 21 day fix approved meals, but I tweak them for him. I may do extra veggies for me and rice for him. OR lettuce wraps for me and tortillas for him. YOU CAN eat healthy as a family, you just have to experiment, try different recipes, and find what works for you and your family!

      Hey Shelby!

      So personally I would recommend the 21 day fix. ONLY because its 30 minutes a day workouts, and the jamie eason live fit in the third phase the workouts are 1.5 – 2 hours a day.
      I LOVED the jamie eason program, BUT after doing the 21 day fix, I really LOVE the quick workouts! It just works great with a busy schedule πŸ™‚

    Hi I just have a quick question. All the calorie ranges have 1 blue per day but most of the meal plans I’ve seen use more than that. Example people use cheese and almonds in the same day. How does that work? I’m starting my first round and that confused me. Even your plan shows 2 blues most days so I was curious. Thanks πŸ™‚

      Hi Devin, My meal plan has one blue and alot of purple, it could look like blues on the screen πŸ™‚ And honestly if you were to have more almonds I really think that would be okay! Are you interested in learning more about my monthly groups? I would LOVE to have you!!

      I typically don’t. My food stays fresh in the fridge for 5 days. But you can totally freeze extra πŸ™‚

      You can totally do something other than hummus. And honestly the weightloss will vary per person. Its healthy to lose 1-2 lbs per week, that is going to depend on your current lifestyle and routine πŸ™‚

      yes! I did the 21 day fix my first three rounds last year while I was nursing. I added 500 extra calories to keep my supply up and to make sure I was getting lots of protein πŸ™‚

    Hi Alesha, I really love how you were able to figure out your meals, you’re a rock star. I’m currently doing the 21 day fix with my husband. We’re on our first week. I have also 2 little ones, so live is so busy therefore I couldn’t prepare before I started and I’m just trying to learn as I go as I’m planning to keep this healthy live style I’m learning with this challenge after the 21 days. Anyway, I would like to know your opinion on keeping all these food in the refrigerator for more than a day or two without going bad. I’m so paranoiac about food poisoning that I always discard raw or cooked meat, cooked rice and steamed veggies that I leave for more than 2 days in the fridge. Do you freeze half of your week meals? I will appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you!

    Love all the info love to get more info I am starting 21 day fix but I’m sorry I do not like shakeology at all I have a protein shake I can tolerate I was planning on fill in in and I do have a gym membership I love and love the classes I attend. Is it still possible to achieve results?

    Well done Ashley! This diet is amazing. You can eat most food and feel great. I did 21 day and i Lost 4kg. I need to get back, i have flet really well. The only problem what i have is my partner he want to feed me all the time. I need to be strong and say NO.
