What do you do when you need a last minute Halloween costume and you literally can’t think of anything?! You pull out the decorations from your daughters first birthday and BAM! I am pretty proud of my spontaneous Flamingo costume! HA I knew my 12 flamingoes would come in handy one day 😉 If you want to see all the Flamingo Madness from Annabelles birthday party CLICK HERE.
I also worked pretty hard on Annabelles homemade Pebbles and my nephews Bam Bam costume I realized that I am actually pretty horrible at judging the size of clothes! HAHA So she ended up as more of a mini Fred Flintstone, but I think she’s still pretty dang cute! One of the best moments as a Mom is seeing your child experience new things! It was so cute to see her trick or treating (even though she really didnt understand the concept) She waved to EVERYONE and loved seeing all the lights! This girl is going to FLIP when its Christmas time!
And because I just love any excuse to have fun with food, I whipped up some pumpkin cake pops this weekend! Now when I say whipped up, I mean I struggled for hours to get my chocolate the right consistency and then attempted to decorate my Jack O lanterns 😉 It was a weekend of AHA moments, that maybe my craft skills are better focused on Flamingos! HAHA BUT they still turned out cute and the kids loved them!
They also took way too long though! HA So I just drizzled the rest of the cake pops with icing They were SUPER DUPER tasty!
We went over to my sisters house for Halloween so I knew I wanted to bring an appetizer! I saw this spider dip on Pinterest and just had to make it! It turned out SOOO CUTE and was so easy! Just layer refried beans, salsa, greek yogurt, cheese, and guacamole for your dip. Then I used a baggie to “pipe” my greek yogurt into the shape of a web. I cut up an olive to make a creepy crawler spider
